Emerald--

Hey, sorry I didn't reply sooner. It's going pretty well. When the semester changed I ended up tagging along with an Art I class, and I'm the only one there, so I basically have the entire 90 min to myself. It's awesome. I've wasted so much time and I never get caught.

College art class sounds pretty cool right now, at least to me--I'm burnt out on coming up with assloads of original composition. It'd be nice to have someone tell me exactly what to do for a while. By the time you get out, though, you'll probably be a master of media. Kickass! You need to start uploading some of your stuff. I have a bunch of my concentrations up as of a few days ago.

Good luck to you, too.

I really love all of your new work. You're so talented, and I love how you have a definite style. Not to sound terribly condescending, since this might not have real weight coming from me, but I'm really proud of you, bb girl.

Hey Justine,

How's art class with Mrs. Kusmaul going? Sorry I haven't been in touch lately. I saw some of your new stuff... it's f-ing awesome. I really like "Child of a Changed World." I saw it, and the jealousy montser rose in me like rising jealous monster. lol.

I'm in my first real college art class. It's pretty cool, but I can't do anything too creative in there. It's mostly draw this object, in this media. But over the summer I'm taking a design class, so that ought to allow me some choice in what I do.

Well, good luck in art, and I'll talk to you later.

Peace,

Emerald

Things have been going pretty well art-wise. (I've been pretty busy with school, including AP, but here I am with a reply!) I should have some new stuff up soon. Some of my first concentration stuff turned out nicely, and for once I'm proud of it. That probably won't last long.

Sad to say, that question can't work on me to its full effectiveness because I've heard it and know the answer: you want to kill your sister so the mystery guy will come to her funeral, too.

It does sound logical, doesn't it? And because the story is presented as entirely hypothetical, I have trouble relating it to sociopathy. Hypothetically, you could kill your sister for your own gains, but in actuality, you wouldn't. However, people would have trouble answering that question the "logical" way, as you described it, because of the social stigma. But this really isn't a reflection of sociopathy! I understand that the test is just for fun and all, but it would be far more accurate and chilling if it asked about past behaviors and compared the amount of antisocial crimes and asked if the test subject ever felt any remorse for those crimes. That's sociopathy.

I think that your answer says more about your personality and problem-solving ability than your psychological state. Objectively, you have no problem with "killing your sister" because it brings about the desired outcome in the situation.

Hey Justine,

Sorry it's taken so long for me to get back to you. I appreciate the critiques you gave. How have things been going in art?

Oh I have a question to ask you. It's kind of like a riddle. It's actually one of the questions off of a 30 problem test to determine whether or not you're a sociopath. I was one of the very few to answer the sociopathic way. It came to me within two seconds and it took almost everyone else who answered the question period to even come up with a possible answer. I'm asking you because I think we have similar personalities.

Well, here goes:

This is a completely hypothetical situation.

Your mother has just passed away and you're at her funeral. Everyone you know is there, including your friends, your extended family, and all your acquaintences. There is, however, one person who you don't know that is there. You know for a fact he's not related to you and you think he's absolutely the most attractive guy you've ever seen. You go through the whole funeral and even the wake trying to talk to him, but you never muster up the courage. The day goes by and you never talk to him. Later on that night, you decide to kill your sister... why?

Write me back with your reply and I'll tell you if you answered the sociopathic way or what I consider the logical way.
